Kinch, Ph.D. Kinch is also an adjunct professor at Michigan State University, where he teaches courses in community service and professional writing around the issue of environmental sustainability. He has an American Studies Ph.D. from MSU with a dissertation on the "the cyclical reinvention of the American Environmental Movement." He has also been a nonprofit volunteer for the IT Zone, New Enterprise at Work, Urban Options, and US Green Building Council, among others.
